Anna Maria Sophia arrived in Auckland on 29th Dec 1855 with her five children. After a stay with nephew James Baylis in Auckland while she found employment for the older members of the family, she made her way to Waiuku to await the arrival of her husband John Mellsop (from America) and later their eldest son John Thomas (from Australia).
The 2016 Reunion took us on a journey to places our ancestors lived and worked at.
